It has been rolled up for most of its life, and it is not torn anywhere. None of it is bad, and the mat still perfectly usable. Around the entire outside edge of mat is an attractive leaf vine design. It comes from a smoke-free environment.

Around the edges are recipes for basic pie crust, baking powder biscuits, equivalent measures substitutions. However, there is some yellowing/staining on one side and are scratches randomly all-over the mat. Dimensions: height - 18 inches length / width 22 Care Instructions: Wipe clean with soapy cloth dry dishtowel. In the middle are circles for rolling out pie crusts in sizes of 8, 9, 10 a small Tart size very mat.

Helpful hint: sprinkle water on the back to keep it from slipping sliding while you are using it, and as always when working with dough, some flour mat before rolling out or your dough.
